  1.                     REGISTRATION FOR Chief's Installer Pro

  4.    This program is NOT crippled in any way, and there are NO nagging
  5.    registration messages. What this means is that you now have the
  6.    FULL version of Chief's Installer Pro. Nothing is disabled, there are
  7.    no extra files, and there is no written manual. All the documentation
  8.    is in the .HLP file (CHIEF.HLP) and the .WRI file (CHIEF.WRI).
  9.  
  10.    I felt that releasing the full version in this way was necessary in
  11.    order to enable people to fully evaluate the program, being that
  12.    they will be seeing _exactly_ what the program is. It also helps to
  13.    ensure that when you do register, you do not have to wait for days
  14.    or weeks to receive your "registered copy".
  15.  
  16.    However, this approach also means that I am relying totally on
  17.    people's honesty to register. Chief's Install Pro is a tool to help
  18.    programmers concentrate on their products by not having to worry
  19.    about installation routines, thereby improving their productivity.
  20.    Please play fair and register your copy if you are going to be using
  21.    it.

  24.   BENEFITS OF REGISTRATION

  26.   1. Free upgrades to all future shareware releases of Chief's Installer
  27.      Pro, up till (but not including) the next MAJOR release. MAJOR
  28.      upgrades will be numbered in whole numbers, and attract an upgrade
  29.      fee of 50% of whatever is the prevailing registration fee.
  30.      Minor upgrades will be numbered in .10 increments, and will be free.
  31.   2. Freedom to use Chief's Install Pro as the installation program for
  32.      an unlimited number of your own applications.
  33.   3. A clear conscience.
  34.   4. Support (via e-mail) for the program.
  35.   5. A chance to have an input into the features of future versions
  36.      (I will _not_ accept suggestions for new features from anyone who
  37.      has not registered).
  38.   6. Not having to worry that I will discover that you have used the
  39.      package as the installation routine for your program without
  40.      registering <g>
